Charities Regulator - Finglas Home Help
Non Profit - Finglas Home Help

Good governance ensures that we are always striving to deliver high-quality care informed by best practice, which protects and promotes the rights of the people who use our service.

“We know that good governance is the key to better care” HIQA Regulation of Social Care and Healthcare Services.

The Charities Governance Code

Finglas Home Care Organisation is fully compliant with the Charities Governance Code. This Code involves putting in place systems and processes which ensure that our organisation achieves its charitable objectives with integrity and that our Company is managed in an effective, efficient, accountable, and transparent way.

Comprehensive Safeguarding Procedures

All employees are aware of their responsibility in recognising, preventing, and protecting the people who use our service from harm. It is our best practice standard that each employee is Garda vetted every two years. This provides extra protection when compared to the national requirement of re-vetting only every 3 years.

Accountability

A culture of trust, openness, respect, and caring is evident throughout our practice and policies. We welcome and listen carefully to feedback from the people who use our service, and we respond without delay to any issues or concerns. We have clear organisational structures in place to promote accountability and continuous quality improvement so that we can maintain our high standards of quality and safe care.

Expert Governance

As a non-profit organisation, we are governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. Our directors are experts in their field, each driven by a philanthropic spirit, contributing their time and experience for the continued oversight and promotion of our organisation’s vision, objectives, and performance.
