Janice, our Care Manager explains:
“Our experience working as home carers creates a much deeper appreciation of the work our care staff encounter and equips us to have a greater understanding of our service user’s needs”.
What our carers say:
“When I started off in healthcare, I was awkward and didn’t know what to say or do. The most important and major achievement for me while working for Finglas Home Care Organisation is that it’s helped me to afford my own home. In the last year I’ve started my own family and had a baby. All this experience means that I now have the confidence that I can walk into any situation and know I’m able to handle it. I really enjoy meeting new people and this work motivates me and gives me more compassion for when I’m older and vulnerable”.
